Sweet Dragonfly Dreams

This sweet friendship card uses the same faux watercolor technique as my husband's birthday card. I used Rich Razzleberry, Daffodil Delight, and Melon Mambo to create this vibrant color block.

Usually, I decorate the inside of my cards with a sentiment and some type of embellishment such as a piece of washi tape or a stamped image. Sometimes there isn't a particular sentiment that fits. Or, like in this case, there are many possible sentiments that are fit perfectly. You could use this card for a birthday, a hello note, a thank you, and more.

So, I chose to stamp the dragonfly image in the lower left corner, leaving plenty of room for a personalized heart-felt message.

How do you decorate the inside of your cards? I would love to see what you create!

Thanks for stopping by!
Beth

You Lift Me Up!

The Lift Me Up stamp and thinlit set reminds me of my first trip to Australia. My friends and I took a sunrise hot air over the Hunter Valley.

We floated over vineyards and fields with grape vines and kangaroos. The mountain views were absolutely stunning. We had such an amazing day that I recreated my hot air balloon ride with this thinking of you card.

The green and blue color block was made by applying markers to clear acrylic blocks and spritzing them with water before "stamping" it onto cardstock. I used Old Olive, Bermuda Bay, Tempting Turquoise, and Pacific Point on an H block.

The sentiments in Lift Me Up are so lovely and heart-warming.

Looking at this card I thought the layout and color palette would work well for a masculine card. I changed the greeting to create a masculine birthday card for my husband's birthday next week.

On the inside of the card, I stamped the small and medium sized clouds. I sneaked/snuck in a little love cloud too. I think he will really like his birthday card!

How have you used the Lift Me Up Bundle? I would love to see what you make!

Thanks for stopping by!
