Wildflower Fields Birthday

I absolutely loved Patsy Waggoner's Party with Cake card on Tuesday. I loved the layout, the color scheme, and the stamp set.  Unfortunately, I do not have that stamp set or the Cherry on Top DSP yet. Ironically, my Stampin' Up! box arrived later that afternoon!

I CASED the layout instead. I wanted to showcase the Wildflower Fields DSP from the 2016 Sale-A-Bration catalog. It's bright, floral, and cheery. I'm ready to usher in the Spring weather!

I was not completely satisfied with the first attempts at the center stamp and sentiment. It is really darling, but it looked too busy with the DSP. I turned it into a 3" x 3" card instead.

I ultimately used the Balloon Celebration stamp set and the Grateful Bunch stamp set with the Wildflower Fields DSP instead. This is what I came up with.

The color scheme for this card was Old Olive, Hello Honey, Calypso Coral, Whisper White, and Basic Black. This card is sure to bring some birthday delight!
