 Year End Closeout Sale Tips

• I recommend that you print the three lists above.
• Read through all three lists carefully. There is a lot of information and tons of symbols marking which products are retiring and which are not! 
• Print out a Wish List and record your shopping list!
  
• All bundles are retiring whether the individual products are retiring or not. This is the most confusing part of this sale. For example, the Poinsettia Petals Bundle is retiring, but the individual products - the Poinsettia Petals stamp set and the Poinsettia Dies are carrying over into the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog. The bundled savings are not carrying over, but the stamp set and the die set are carrying over.
  
• I recommend marking your 2020 August-December Catalog with what is retiring, what is carrying over into the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog, and what is returning in the 2021 July-December Mini Catalog. I do this in my own catalogs. There is so much that is retiring, that it is difficult to keep it all organized.

 

Last week, I said that I would share a few of my favorite retiring products, and I have to say that I am surprised that many of my favorite stamps sets are on the retiring list! Here are two of my favorite retiring stamp sets!

 

I am so sad that the Dove of Hope Bundle, the Dove of Hope stamp set and the Detailed Dove Dies are retiring! Myself, many of my customers, and many of the demonstrator team members all have both the Dove of Hope stamp set and the Dove Dies. We have been enjoying creating projects with this set. I would consider the Dove of Hope a timeless Christmas staple that could be used for many years. I recommend grabbing the Dove of Hope Bundle while supplies last!

The Warm Hugs Bundle, the Warm Hugs stamp set, and the Mini Coffee Cup Carriers are also retiring. The Mini Coffee Cup Carriers are 50% off! Wow!

 

However, the Warm Wrap Dies are carrying over into the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog. I love coffee and hot beverages, so I am truly looking forward to the 2021-2022 Annual to find out if there is new, exciting products the dies might coordinate with! I can't wait to see!

Year-End Closeout Sale Begins Today!

Today begins the 2019 Year-End Closeout Sale! From December 3, 2019 through January 2nd, 2020 (or while supplies last), select retiring 2019 Holiday Catalog products are on sale! This sale only happens once a year and while supplies last. Once a product sells out, it is gone for good.

Please, review the Sale List and the Carry Over List carefully. They are long and can be confusing.

Bundle Pricing Retires Even if the Individual Products are Not Retiring

Please, keep in mind that all special 10% off bundle pricing retires every catalog even if the individual products in the bundle are not retiring. For example, the Perfectly Plaid Bundle (Item #151143) is retiring. The savings part is retiring not the products. The Perfectly Plaid Stamp Set (Item #149418) and the Pine Tree Punch (Item #149521) are carrying over. This situation is indicated by three asterisks (***).

One Product in a Bundle is Retiring but the Other Product is Not Retiring

There are a few Bundles with stamp sets that are retiring while their coordinating dies are carrying over. This situation is indicated by two asterisks (**). For example, the So Many Stars Stamp Set (Item #150496) is retiring but the coordinating dies Stitched Star Dies (Item #150653) is carrying over.

What do you mean by Carrying Over?

A number of products from each Stampin' Up! catalog retire or are no longer sold after the catalog sales period ends. However, there are some products that will appear in the next printed catalog (such as from one annual catalog to the next annual catalog), be still available for purchase but not listed in a printed catalog (this is the case with the 2019 Holiday Catalog), or appear again at a later date (say, in the 2020 Holiday Catalog which is almost a year from now). Products that carry over from the 2019 Holiday Catalog, will NOT be in a printed catalog. They will only be available online in my online store during the carry over period (January 3rd, 2020 through June 2nd, 2020). After the carry over period is over, Stampin' Up! will tell us if any products will continue into another catalog, such as the 2020 Annual Catalog.

I recommend printing the Carrying Over List and placing it in the current Catalog as a reminder of what is still available for purchase.

A Very Exciting Twist

The Carry Over List has a few products marked with an asterisk. That means these products will carry over but NOT be available for purchase until the start of the 2020 Holiday Catalog in September of 2020. This is something brand new that Stampin' Up! is trying. The following products will carry over but won't be available for purchase again until September of 2020.

Mark Your Catalog to Help Keep Track of What is Retiring and Carrying Over

The list was confusing even for me! I went through and wrote next to each product whether it was retiring, retiring in part, and carrying over. I used a pen, but you could also use a highlighter or a marker. I wrote R for retiring, CO for carrying over. It can be shorthand, a symbol, etc. This is to clarify what is retiring and what is not retiring. I truly recommend going through each of the Year-End Closeout Lists (Sale and Carrying Over) and marking your Holiday Catalog.
