Fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrator Liz Lindsay showed me how to make her card at our last demonstrator team meeting. This is a thoughtful card and well-designed card.
Cut a 8-1/2" by 5-1/2" Night of Navy cardstock card base and score it at 4-1/4". Cut two 4" by 5-1/4" pieces of Very Vanilla cardstock.
Stamp the "Sending Heartfelt Thoughts" sentiment image in the center of one of the Very Vanilla cardstock pieces with Night of Navy ink. Then stamp the large flower bouquet around the sentiment with Night of Navy ink.
Color in the daisy flower with Powder Pink and Crushed Curry Stampin' Write Markers.
Place the largest stitched circle die in the center and die cut. Adhere the card front to the front of the card. Attach dimensionals to the back of the die cut circle. Adhere the die cut circle to the center of the card front where it was originally die cut from.
Add rhinestones to the card front.
On the second Very Vanilla cardstock piece, stamp the "Praying that your heart will be lifted..." sentiment from Flourishing Phrases in the center with Night of Navy ink. Then stamp the large bouquet image in the upper left and in the lower right corners with Night of Navy ink. Color in the daisies as before and then adhere to the insides of the card base.

You are in Our Thoughts
I created this thinking of you card for my cousin who is leaving for the
Marines in a few days.
My cousin is embarking on an incredibly strenuous, noble, and dangerous journey. While we are nervous, we are all so deeply proud of him! I wanted to start creating a series of cards to send him while he is in boot camp. I wanted to let him we support and love him.
I punched three clouds out of sticky notes with the top of the Tree Builder Punch and placed them randomly on a piece of Whisper White cardstock. The background is sponged with Soft Sky, leaving room for the grass underneath the tree.
I stamped the leaves directly onto the background with Wild Wasabi and then layered with Wild Wasabi leaves. I tied Crushed Curry baker's twine around the tree's trunk and placed a heart at the tree base.
On the inside is stamped the pairing sentiment and a Wild Wasabi leaf. I kept the inside fairly simple with plenty of room for encouraging messages!

April's Monthly Meeting
Thursday was our monthly demonstrator's meeting with my amazing upline Colleen Magness. This month's card swap theme was sympathy, get well, and thinking of you. These types of cards can be hard to design. It is hard to know what to say and how much to say even for the closest of family and friends.
Here are the swaps our group made.
What sympathy, get well, and thinking of you cards have you made? What stamp sets and colors appeal most to you for these occasions? I would love to see what you create!
