Sweet Easter Bunny Punch Art Treat Box

I made this adorable Easter Bunny treat box filled with candy-coated chocolate just in time for Easter.

This cutie was made using circle punches and the Layering Ovals Framelits. The ears are the smallest and the second smallest Oval Framelits. The bunny's face is a 2" circle. The front paws are made from a 3/4" circle cut in half.

His face is made using the small outline heart image from Heart Happiness and filled in with a Pink Pirouette marker. The eyes, mouth, and whiskers are freehand drawn using a Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker.

The tail is a 1-1/8" Scalloped Circle. This sweet treat box could also be filled with foil wrapped chocolate eggs, chocolate kisses, or even puzzle pieces for a non-candy option.

Daffodil Easter Greetings

Today I am sharing a card I designed for one of my Easter card classes featuring the You're Inspiring stamp set and the Petal Pair Embossing Folders.

I used a simple layout to really let each element shine. It is so refreshing to see flowers blooming after such an unusual winter! I think they symbolize the promise of greenery and new beginnings. I used Light and Dark Daffodil Stampin' Blends and the Light Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Blends to color in the flowering portion of the daffodil and Light and Dark Old Olive Stampin' Blends to color in the stem of the daffodil.

To create the all-over embossed background, I used the vine embossing folder from the Petal Pair Embossing Folder set twice to emboss a 4" by 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White cardstock. The folder was placed along the 5-1/4" side at the top and embossed and then at the bottom and embossed.

I stamped the large daffodil image on the inside of the card because it is simply too pretty not to! You could also stamp the row of daffodils along the bottom or put Happy Easter on the inside instead.

This card could be transformed from an Easter card to a thinking of you card, a birthday card, or a Mother's Day card by changing the greeting on the outside using the other greeting sentiments included with the You're Inspiring stamp set. What a perfect stamp set for Easter as well as springtime occasions!
