This card is the first idea I had when I saw this aquatic stamp set and thinlit bundle. The ocean floor is created by masking off the bottom of the largest stitched oval die cut with a sticky note and sponging with Crumb Cake ink. Then I sponged the water with Pool Party ink. Then the coral and seaweed vines were stamped.
The school of fish come from the negative space of the fish framelit die! Instead of using the postive space of the die, I used the negative space of the fish framelit die as a stencil!
For added dimension and texture, I randomly knotted two pieces of Linen Thread and adhered them to the left side of the card front. A sailor's knot would look great here too!
I like to stamp something on the inside of every card, whether it is a single stamped image, a greeting, or a little vignette. Here I recreated a small ocean floor vignette with three seaweed vine images in Garden Green ink. The greeting "Thanks for reaching out" is too cute! I enjoy a good word pun!
