Today's second project is a caramel treat holder. I found these caramel bites at one of my local sandwich shops and could not resist! However, a pumpkin-shaped peanut butter cup also fits in this treat holder.
The sparkle from the glittered ribbon and from the rhinestones is fantastic! Don't the rhinestones look like bubbles popping on the surface of a witch's brew?!
I measured the caramel packaging to determine the dimensions of the treat holder base. I added 1/16" to each panel to give a little breathing room at each score line. Once my measurements were finalized, I cut my cardstock. Then, along the long side, I scored the base to create a top flap, a back panel, a bottom panel, and a front panel.
The sides are left open and there is enough room to glue the top flap down and slide in the caramel or the pumpkin-shaped peanut butter cup from either side.
