Cheers! Paper Pieced Teacups Card

Fancy a cuppa? This is one of the cards I created for my Annual Catalog Launch Party in June. This paper pieced card showcases the Tea for Time Bundle. This sweet tea stamp and die Bundle caught my eye right away! It made its way to the top of my must have list because it reminds me of all of the tea cups and tea pots that my grandmother had in her house and the tea parties that we all enjoyed.

I stamped the tea cups and saucers with black ink across the front of the card, making sure that at least one tea cup and saucerin every row was fully visible. The Tearoom Specialty Designer Series Paper is too pretty to choose one pattern on this card, so I picked several of the patterns to feature. The paper piecing technique is perfect here! I stamped the tea cup and saucer onto the Tearoom Specialty Designer Series Paper, die cut it, and then fussy cut the tea cup from the saucer before gluing the tea cup onto the stamped images.

  

The inside has a simple greeting of cheers in the center and a flower in the lower left corner.
