My Top Ten 2019 Holiday Catalog Stamp Sets & Bundles

As demonstrators, we are able to see and pre-order from the 2019 Holiday Catalog about a month or a month and a half (if you are on the demonstrator incentive trip) in advance of its to release in September. That way we can prepare for classes, events, blog posts, retreat days, and more.

My customers, friends, and family will all attest that I pour over the Holiday Catalog like a novel, marveling at each page for what it seems like hours! I try to plan and pre-order according to many factors, so that I can provide the best class and event experience to my customers! I even made my own pre-order template to help me and my team make their wish lists and chart their project and event ideas!

I ask myself a series of questions to determine if this stamp set/bundle is one that I will feature, such as
  1. Does it fit with the season that we are in?
  2. How soon will I use it?
  3. Does it fit my customer's needs? Do my customers like the style?
  4. How many techniques can I demonstrate with this set?
  5. Will it build my customers' stamping skills?
  6. Does it fit my needs for personal projects? Do I like the style?
The 2019 Holiday Catalog is overflowing with amazing new products! It was very difficult to narrow down my wish list! I was able to get my list down to the 10 stamp sets and bundles that are my absolute favorites! The order of my Top Ten List is in the order that the stamp sets and bundles appear in the catalog and not in any ranking order because I love them all! Let's get started!

Craft with Beth: Stampin' Up! Top 10 Stamp Sets and Bundles from the 2019 Holiday Catalog Graphic Top 10 ten list

1. Tidings All Around Bundle (Item #152371)

Craft with Beth: Stampin' Up! Tidings All Around Catalog Photo

Wreaths!! Need I say more?! I am borderline obsessed with wreaths. My decoration closet is filled with wreaths for every season and occasion. They make fantastic holiday decor pieces because they are seasonally appropriate, provide texture, are colorful, last a long time, and fill up a lot of space, so you don't have to buy tons of decorations.

The Tidings All Around Bundle (Item #152371) comes with the Tidings All Around Stamp Set and the All-Around Wreath Dies. You can stamp the large wreath image with one color of ink for a solid-looking wreath or use Stampin' Write Markers to color directly onto your stamp for multiple colors. The wreath stamps can be used for winter, for fall, for spring, and for summer cards, tags, table decor, and more with just a change of color palettes. The greeting stamps are designed for Christmastime, but "Tidings of Comfort and Joy" could be used for any time of the year.

The wreath die in the lower right corner of the photograph above cuts out the large wreath stamp, but it could also be used on its own to create your own wreath designs. The wreath die in the upper right corner of the photograph above cuts out a leafy wreath. While this die doesn't coordinate with a stamp, it can be used with the stamped images for layering or as a stand alone wreath. Add a few Toile Tidings Glitter Enamel Shapes (Item #150433) to the leafy die for a holly berry wreath!

2. Perfectly Plaid Bundle (Item #151143)

Craft with Beth: Stampin' Up! Perfectly Plaid Catalog Photo

The Perfectly Plaid Bundle (Item #151143) comes with the Perfectly Plaid Stamp Set and the Pine Tree Punch. The greetings fit perfectly for Christmas projects of all types and for all ages. The greeting fonts are clear, readable, and a fun mix of curly writing and a more linear serif typewriter font.

Each of the pine tree stamps can be punched out with the Pine Tree Punch, making projects easier and quicker to assemble. The pine tree stamps are also a mixture of photo-realistic, hand-drawn, and background designs, so that this stamp set is suited for all project types from the more casual to the more formal, such as a formal dinner invitation.

Perfectly Plaid is similar to another bundle we had a few years ago called Peaceful Pines that came bundled with the Perfect Pines Dies. However, the pine trees were more angular and not as natural looking. Personally, I like the look of the Pine Tree Punch better. If you have the Peaceful Pines Bundle, I think, the Perfectly Plaid Bundle is a welcomed addition! I still have the Perfect Pines Bundle and plan to incorporate both bundles in my personal projects!

3. Snowman Season Bundle (Item #152337)

The Snowman Season Bundle (Item #152337) is fun and whimsical! It comes with the Snowman Season Stamp Set and the Snowman Builder Punch. The greeting fonts and the snowman stamps are cheerful additions to any wintertime project! I can see using the Snowman Builder Punch with my niece and my nephews this winter! I think they would have a ball drawing faces on and decorating their snowmen.

The Snowman Season Bundle can be paired with the Let it Snow Embellishment Kit (Item #150425) for even more snowman building fun!

4. Tiny Keepsakes Bundle (Item #152390)

Craft with Beth: Stampin' Up! Snowmand Season Snowman Builder Punch Catalog Photo Let It Snow Embellishment Kit Tiny Keepsakes Bundle

The Tiny Keepsakes Bundle (Item #152390) is a redesign of the original Curvy Keepsakes Bundle that we had a few years ago. The Curvy Keepsake Die was one of the products that I had hoped Stampin' Up! would never retire. The Curvy Keepsake can be made into all kinds of characters from traditional holidays to movie characters to Disney characters to animals, and more. You name it, you can make it into a Curvy Keepsake box. I was beyond overjoyed to see that a new version is in the 2019 Holiday Catalog!

Craft with Beth: Stampin' Up! Catalog Photo Tiny Keepsakes Bundle

The most obvious difference between the original Curvy Keepsake box and the new Tiny Keepsake box is the size. The new Tiny Keepsakes box is clearly smaller. The new smaller size means less space to fill, less cost to fill, and less paper needed. The Tiny Keepsake die fits onto a 6" x 6" piece of Designer Series Paper with EXTRA room, whereas only 1 side of the original Curvy Keepsake die will barely fit onto a 6" x 6" piece of Designer Series Paper.

The Tiny Keepsake box is now 1 die instead of having to cut 2 pieces and glue them together.  I was skeptical at first because I wasn't sure if I would going to like having 1 die because it was easier to glue 2 different colors of cardstock or Designer Series Paper together. You can still make a Tiny Keepsake box with 2 colors or two different papers.

There are more tag dies and embellishment dies with the Tiny Keepsake Dies than with the original Curvy Keepsake Dies.

There is now a coordinating stamp set. There are 2 background stamps - plaid and stripes - to decorate your box as well as stamps that coordinate with the tag dies. The Tiny Keepsakes Bundle is a winner in my book!

5. Christmas Gleaming Bundle (Item #153006)

Craft with Beth: Stampin' Up! Catalog Photo Christmas Gleaming Bundle

The Christmas Gleaming Bundle (Item #153006) is a refresh on the classic Christmastime decoration - the ornament. The bundle comes with the Christmas Gleaming Stamp Set and the Gleaming Ornament Punch Pack. So, you get 1 stamp set and 2 punches in this bundle! Nice!

The Christmas Gleaming Bundle has gorgeous, traditionally shaped ornaments, a holly sprig, background, and greeting stamps. You can even make a Christmas cracker with the smaller ornament punch!

6. Cup of Christmas Bundle (Item #153025)

Craft with Beth: Stampin' Up! Catalog Photo Cup of Christmas Bundle

The Cup of Christmas Bundle (Item #153025) is the first bundle to have the new Reversibles™ Stamps! The Reversibles™ Stamps are smooth and flat are both sides instead of having one smooth side and one raised side. Having both sides smooth and flat enables you to stamp in one direction and in the other direction!

For example, if you want your mug handle facing left, you can! If you want your mug handle facing right, you can! Simply, flip the stamp over and mount it to a clear acrylic block! It is that easy! No more transferring an image onto acetate or the silicon mat.

The Cup of Cheer Dies also come with a left-facing and a right-facing mug handle dies. So, not matter which direction you stamp your mug, you can die cut it with ease. I love the extra dies to decorate the mug too! The poinsettia and the stripes are festive. So is the candy cane!

7. Snow Front Stamp Set (Item #150483)

Craft with Beth: Stampin' Up! Catalog Photo Snow Front

Snow Front (Item #150483) is a winter-themed watercolor look photopolymer stamp set. It is similar in style to the very popular and beautiful Waterfront stamp set (Item #146386). I featured Waterfront as one of my Stamps of the Month Classes. Waterfront was such a hit that I ended up having 3 additional sessions complete with 8 more cards. We all love Waterfront! Snow Front is going to be no different!

If I were to rank my top ten choices in order of favorites, Snow Front would be my number one favorite stamp set from the 2019 Holiday Catalog with the Tiny Keepsakes Bundle coming in at a close second. I love that you don't have to be a water coloring expert to use this stamp set but still look like it!

8. Harvest Hello Bundle (Item #153037)

Craft with Beth: Stampin' Up! Catalog Photo Harvest Hello Bundle

I am fascinated by how the Hello Harvest Bundle (Item #153037) can transform from an apple to a pumpkin! That is too clever! I also love that the Hello Harvest Bundle can transition from Back to School Season to Fall to Halloween and continue on through Thanksgiving! Plus, the apple motifs can be used throughout the year for teacher gifts. The Harvest Hello Bundle gets an A+ for versatility!

You can also punch out the half of an apple stamped image using one half of the Apple Builder Punch!

9. Day of Thanks Stamp Set (Item #150574)

Craft with Beth: Stampin' Up! Catalog Photo Day of Thanks

The Day of Thanks Stamp Set (Item #150574) is the kind of stamp set that I have been hoping for! We really needed a larger Happy Thanksgiving greeting stamp! Thanksgiving is about coming together as a family and as a community. Using Day of Thanks on a card, at a place setting, and more are wonderful ways of showing your gratitude for and love for your loved ones.

It doesn't have to be Thanksgiving to use this stamp set though. The turkey feather stamp can enhance any project. The greeting "You Fill My Heart with Gratitude This Day and Always" can also be used year round.

10. To Every Season Bundle (Item #153051)

Craft with Beth: Stampin' Up! Catalog Photo To Every Season Bundle

The To Every Season Bundle (Item #153051) is simply too cute to pass up! It comes with the To Every Season Stamp Set and 4 itty bitty punches shaped like a bat, a snowflake, a heart, and a leaf. The To Every Season Bundle is another versatile bundle that can be used from Fall all the way through Valentine's Day and beyond! The "Thank you" greeting stamp can be used all year long.

The sizes of the stamps and the punches make them the perfect bundle for treat holders! YES! My mom and I both really like making treat holders. They are also perfect for making your own backgrounds, for practicing coloring techniques and shading, and for cards!
