I'm so enchanted by the Falling in Love Designer Series Paper, especially the pieces with the Bokeh effect (2nd and 4th from the right are my favs)!
Bokeh is a photography effect that captures out of focus points of light. The lights look blurred and softened. It looks so sweet! Even romantic! Love it!
For this month's Technique Tuesday, we recreated the Bokeh effect. Here is one of the cards I created using the Balloon Adventures Stamp Set and Thinlit Bundle.
For the background, I used Wisteria Wonder, Pool Party, and Rose Red. I have been trying to vary my color palettes and use colors that I have not used recently. This color palette reminds me of growing up in the eighties/nineties. I loved pink, purple, and blue together.
On the inside of the card, I stamped the confetti image in Pool Party and the sentiment in Wisteria Wonder.
Here are some cards that the ladies made in my class. They did a fabulous job! I really like that everyone's cards are different. Gorgeous!

Sending Smiles Your Way Shaker Card
Tuesday's technique class focused on making shaker cards using the new foam adhesive strips. We made two beautiful cards - one for birthdays and one for Christmas. I also shared more samples to show other shaker shapes and fillings. Here is one of the samples using the new Love and Affection stamp set.
The filling comes from the Tree Builder Punch's little flower. I punched flowers in Flirty Flamingo, Peekaboo Peach, Daffodil Delight, and Sweet Sugarplum. I love the fresh, summery look of the new In Colors! Yesterday I thought Emerald Envy was my favorite In Color. Now, I think it is Flirty Flamingo! What's your favorite new In Color?
Brushstrokes background stamp is a beautiful way to show off the gorgeous, new copper embossing powder! Look at that shine!
For added interest, I stamped the tiny flower around the greeting in Flirty Flamingo, Peekaboo Peach, and Daffodil Delight ink.
On the inside of the card, I stamped the larger flower and some leaves in the lower right corner. To make the leaves peek out from underneath the flower, I used a sticky note mask.
Don't miss next month's Technique Tuesday class! The next technique is so bright you may need your sunglasses! Reserve your spot today!
Have you tried the new foam adhesive strips or made shaker cards? I would love to see what you make!
