Stampin' Up! has some truly stunning Designer Series Paper packs! I know I have hoarded quite a few or a dozen different packs over the years! It is so beautiful, it can be difficult to part with or cut.
But, we should use it and share the gorgeous floral, geometric, natural, and colorful patterned papers with our loved ones! Below are just a few ideas to get you started!
Each pack of Designer Series Paper is made so that all of the patterns and colors coordinate with one another. Stampin' Up! makes it easy to mix and match patterns from the same Designer Series Paper. All of the coordinating colors are listed on the back of each Designer Series Paper pack. So, you can feel confident decorating a card front with more than one patterned paper.
The Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper is one of my most used Designer Series Paper packs from the 2019-2020 Annual Catalog. And, with good reason! The bird and floral motifs are bright, cheery, and colorful! It is hard to choose only one design! With this card, you can choose 5!
You can turn your Designer Series Paper into gift-able boxes for all occasions! This gable box is made from the Mossy Meadow and Whisper White striped patterned paper from the Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper pack.
You can also use individual motifs or sections of the patterned paper to create embellishments. The magnolia blossoms are die cut from the Designer Series Paper using the Magnolia Memory Dies to create a frame around the cork greeting tag. No fussy cutting required!
Patterned paper can add just the right look or feel to your cards without being overly cluttered or going over the budget. Patterned papers don't add the bulkiness or dimension that some other embellishments can, making mailing cards easier but without taking away from the beauty of the card.
