At the demonstrator convention, OnStage, we were introduced to the 2019-2021 In Colors! This is the part that I look forward to the most (besides spending time with my fellow demonstrators, of course!)! I wonder what the new In Colors will look like, if they all go together as a collection, how they fill in the gaps with our current color selections, and how they compare to current and prior colors.
The 2019-2021 In Color collection, to me, looks like a sunset in the
desert. I love how they all look
together! Here they are!
All of the 2019-2021 In Colors fill in a gap in our current color selections, too, especially Purple Posy. There was no lilac purple. Terracotta Tile is fits right in between Cajun Craze and Calypso Coral. Pretty Peacock is a blend of Not Quite Navy (retired) and Island Indigo (retired) with a little Tranquil Tide (retiring). Pretty Peacock is the best of all three of those colors! Seaside Spray is similar to Bashful Blue (retired) but with a lot more gray.
Below are some color comparison charts so you can see how each of the new 2019-2021 In Colors fit into our current color selection and how they compare with some of our retired colors.
When you stack the 2019-2021 In Colors with the 2018-2020 In Colors, they form a rainbow!! Beautiful!!
Today my favorite 2019-2021 In Color is Seaside Spray! It reminds me of the beach scenes in the oil paintings sold in Rockport, Massachusetts. Rockport has a fantastic artisan shopping center full of antiques and local artists selling paintings, jewelry, clothes, baubles, and more. My family and I would visit the beach and then wander around Rockport browsing for seaside treasures in the little cute shops. Such a lovely memory!
What do you think of the new 2019-2021 In Color collection? Which color is your favorite? I would love to hear from you! Post a comment below today!

2019-2020 Annual Catalog Survival Printables
To help get ready for the new 2019-2020 Annual Catalog, I have updated and added a few reference sheets and printables.
The Wish List Template is ready to print and record all of your favorite items! I know you are going to love the new catalog, so make sure you print extra copies! I have updated the format to include larger spaces to keep track of products for your next order.
I updated the Designer Series Paper (DSP) Color Coordination Charts to include the new catalog goodies. This chart lists the colors that are featured in each Designer Series Paper pack, making it easier to select matching or similar colors for your projects.
I updated the Designer Washi Tape Color Coordination Charts to include the new catalog's washi tape. I think you are going to really like this year's washi tapi selection! I am truly intrigued by the Pressed Petal Washi Tape!
The Current Stampin' Up! Color Chart now includes the 2019-2021 In Colors.
The Current RGB & Hex Codes Chart also now includes the 2019-2021 In Colors.
The RGB & Hex Codes for In Colors chart now includes the 2019-2021 In Colors.
The Color Collections Sample Chip Cards now include the 2019-2021 In Colors as well as item numbers for 8-1/2" by 11" cardstock, ink pads, and ink refills. I have also updated the Basics Collection item numbers to include thick cardstock and 12" x 12" cardstock item numbers. Print pages 1-5 on cardstock. Print pages 6-8 on copy paper. Cut out and adhere the item number charts to the back of the color collections sample chip cards. Having the item numbers handy makes re-ordering a breeze!
Stampin' Up! has created a fabulous In Color Color Coach for the 2018-2020 In Colors and for the 2019-2021 In Colors. This Color Coach is a great source of inspiration!
May is the last month to order from the 2018-2019 Annual Catalog and the 2019 Occasions Catalog! Many items are either approaching low inventory or are now sold out. Please place your order timely to avoid missing out on your favorite retiring products!
I placed my order for another paper piercing tool (Item #126189). I love the Take Your Pick Tool. However, sometimes you only want a paper piercer for the craft room, for the kitchen, for jewelry making, for the garage in the tool box, for gluing, and more! I use the Paper Piercing Tool for paper crafting, for classes to remove small die cut pieces, for sewing, for holding materials down while hot or cold gluing, for holding down jump rings and small links for jewelry making, for prying off dried-on adhesive (these are sharp tools, so always take the proper safety precautions!), and for working in my garage. My husband even has his own Paper Piercing Tool! They are very handy tools to have all over the house!
Some of the circle punches are retiring! I can't believe it is true! The 3/4" (Item #119873), the 1-1/4" (Item #119861), and the 1-3/4" (Item #119850) circle punches are all retiring! Say it isn't so! Circle Punches are such a staple in my craft room! I use them not only for punching out stamped images, but for labeling, making tabs for pockets in scrapbooks, and more. I hope you snap up these circle punches before they retire!
Don't forget. My Catalog Launch Party is Saturday, June 22nd from 9:30am to 3:00pm. There will be prizes, games, make and takes, and delicious food! Breakfast treats include yogurt parfaits and Monkey Bread. Lunch will be served - the theme is a summer picnic, and the menu includes a variety of sandwiches, orzo salad, beverages, and desserts.
I have some amazing samples to share with you too! It's going to be an awesome day of stamping with you all! RSVP by June 10th by phone, text, or email!
Thanks for stopping by!

How To: Cleaning Your Stampin' Scrub
The second most used tool in my craft room is my Stampin' Scrub. I use it every time I stamp to clean my stamps whether they are wood-mounted, clear-mounted, cling-mounted, or photopolymer.
Just like any other tool, the Stampin' Scrub needs a good cleaning! The wet side scrubbing pad soaks up all of the Stampin' Mist and all of the ink left on your stamps after each use. Over time this residual ink and Stampin' Mist build up on the wet side scrubbing pad. It becomes over-saturated and doesn't clean as efficiently. You will start to notice reddish or gray-brown marks on your stamps. You may also notice that the wet side and the dry side scrubbing pads take longer and longer to fully dry. This is a sure sign that you need to clean your Stampin' Scrub.
How often you stamp will determine how often you clean your Stampin' Scrub. The more you use it, the more often you will need to clean it. I clean my Stampin' Scrub about every 3 weeks or less, if I have a lot of classes and events all at once.
The Stampin' Scrub is very easy to clean. First remove the wet and dry scrubbing pads from the case. Four little half circle tabs hold each pad in place. Insert a bone folder or your fingers underneath the scrubbing pad by one of the tabs and lift the scrubbing pad out of the case.
Place the two scrubbing pads and the case in a kitchen sink. Add a few drops of hand dishing washing soap to each piece. Wash and rinse the case with a sponge. Set the case on a kitchen towel to dry or wipe the case dry with a kitchen towel.
Then scrub each pad with a dish scrubbing brush or with your fingers, working the soap into a lather and all over the pads. You may start to see ink and residual Stampin' Scrub discolor the soap. Next rinse each pad thoroughly to remove all of the soap, ink, and Stampin' Mist. The water will run clear once the pads are fully rinsed. Set the pads on a kitchen towel to dry.
Depending on your climate, the Stampin' Scrub may take a few hours or a day to fully dry. My climate is humid. I leave my scrubbing pads out for two days to make sure they are completely dry. I prop my scrubbing pad up against the case to help the excess water run off the pads, but this isn't necessary. You can lay them flat.
After the scrubbing pads are dry, place them back into the case. Slide the pad underneath the two tabs closest to the hinge and then pop the other side underneath the two tabs farthest from the hinge. The pads are made to fit on either the wet side or the dry side, so you don't have to keep track of which pad is which. They are both the same. Your Stampin' Scrub is now ready for stamping!
To keep your Stampin' Scrub in tip top shape, be sure to clean it regularly and to allow it to dry between stamping sessions. I leave my Stampin' Scrub open on my crafting desk while not in use. This reduces the chance of mildew and odors.
The Stampin' Scrub is such a vital tool in my stamping that I have two Stampin' Scrubs, so I always have a Stampin' Scrub ready for stamping while the other one is drying!
I recommend only using water-based inks on your Stampin' Scrub. All of Stampin' Up!'s Classic Ink Pads are water-based.
I don't generally use my Stampin' Scrub to clean any stamps that have Whisper White Craft ink or Stazon ink. Whisper White Craft ink is a pigment ink that is closer to acrylic paint and will leave white streaks all over your Stampin' Scrub. Stazon ink is an alcohol solvent-based ink that is a bit greasy and can leave grease spots. However, if I am going to clean my Stampin' Scrub after using Whisper White Craft ink or Stazon ink, then I will use my Stampin' Scrub. Or, you can also dedicate another Stampin' Scrub to pigment-based and alcohol-based inks.
How do you clean your Stampin' Scrub? Do you have any tips or tricks that you would like to share? I would love to hear from you! Post a comment below with your Stampin' Scrub cleaning tips and tricks today!
