Santa's Workshop Gift Bag
I was inspired by a tiny tag on page 18 of the 2018 Holiday Catalog featuring the elf working on a toy train to create today's project. I used elements in the original tag and the boxes of presents it was attached to, such as the Garden Green Baker's Twine, the banner shape, the greeting circle, and the designer series paper to create my elf gift bag. Isn't this elf so sweet working on his train?!
The gift bag was made using the Gift Bag Punch Board using the medium scoring guide lines and Garden Green cardstock. It is a rich, deep green that sets off the Poppy Parade and Whisper White!
The elf was die cut directly from the Santa's Workshop Specialty Designer Series Paper. I love the versatility of this Designer Series Paper. You can use the the paper as is and cut it for a card front or embellishment. You can die cut images using the Santa's Signpost Framelits. You can also fussy cut the images. The elves are my favorite! They are just darling!
Sadly, the Santa's Workshop enamel shapes are no longer available. They were so popular that they have been on back order for some time. While the back orders are being filled, additional supplies of the Santa's Workshop enamel shapes will not be available in time for Christmas and will now be considered retired.
I debated whether or not to share this project because the enamel shapes are no longer available, but I had already prepared the post and the elf is so adorable that a substitute would not deter from its preciousness. I recommend substituting basic pearl jewels in place of the Santa's Workshop enamel shapes.
Two additional products are also now retired - Joyous Noel Designer Series Paper and the Festive Farmhouse Elements. They were so popular that it created a large amount of back orders, enough that the manufacturer could not supply another batch (after filling the back orders) in time to finish Christmas projects. The Joyous Noel Designer Series Paper was exquisite! I hope you were able to get a pack or another pack before it retired. I know I have been using this Designer Series Paper quite a bit in my classes. I am saddened that these products are no longer available.
There is some good news though! The Dashing Along Promotional Designer Series Paper (Item #149903) offered as a host special in September will be available for purchase as supplies last for $11.00 (USD)!
