The pine boughs were stamped using the solid pine boughs image from the Christmas Pines stamp set. I used Shaded Spruce ink at full strength for the first bough image and then stamped off several times before inking the stamp again.
The Coastal Cabana card base color is inspired from another Christmas card with an aqua card base that I saw on Pinterest. I think I am more traditional in my color palette choices for Christmas, tending to stick with the reds, greens, white/cream, and metallics rather than the newer combinations of blues, white/cream, and metallics or even purples, white/cream, and metallics. I am trying to branch out in my color palette choices! I truly like the result and think it brightens up the card even more!
The greeting on the inside of the card is made from two separate stamps from the Making Christmas Bright stamp set. The "May your Christmas be" is one greeting stamp and the "Bright" is the second greeting stamp. This is very helpful for adding multiple colors, for layering, for positioning, and adding interest to your card making projects!
