Flower and Field Designer Series Paper (Item #155223) is my favorite Sale-A-Bration product! It has a bright, happy theme with floral motifs on one side and a mixture of tiny geometric and smaller flowers and leaves on the other side.
Both sides pair well together. This is so helpful when using two or more designer series papers in a project. You don't want the patterns to overwhelm or compete with each other.
There is a good balance of different sizes of patterns. Some flowers are large, some are medium, and some are small. The scale of each pattern should also have some contrast - one pattern should be proportionately larger or smaller than the other. Otherwise, the patterns become too busy looking.

Stampin' Up! announced today that, sadly, Whisper White is retiring. Whisper White cardstock, Thick Whisper White cardstock, and Whisper White Medium Envelopes are every day staples in our craft room. Unfortunately, the paper mill that produces the Whisper White cardstock, note cards, and envelopes has permanently closed because of the COVD-19 pandemic. When I read the announcement, my heart saddened for a craft room staple but mostly for the paper mill closing and the loss of livelihoods.
Stampin' Up! has very little notice that the paper mill was closing, and the unique technology that this paper mill used is no longer available to produce the Whisper White cardstock and related products. There was no way to replenish the stock of Whisper White products.
Stampin' Up! jumped right in and worked hard to find a new supplier that can produce the best cardstock, note card, and envelope to replace Whisper White. They tested each of the replacement products thoroughly! Stampin' Up! is confident in the quality of the new white cardstock, notecards, and envelopes.
The name of the white cardstock and related products will transition to a new name - Basic White.
What does that mean right now?
With Whisper White going out of production, a number of products will be affected. Below is a list of Whisper White products that will be going out of production and stock will not be replenished once it sells out.

This change only affects Whisper White cardstock and related Whisper White products. It doesn't have an affect on any other cardstock or related product.

Basic White products are not listed in the PRINTED versions of the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog and in the 2021 January-June Mini Catalog. They will be listed on Stampin' Up!'s online store. Read through all three lists carefully. There is a lot of information and tons of symbols marking which products are retiring and which are not!
Print out a Wish List and record your shopping list!
All bundles are retiring whether the individual products are retiring or not. This is the most confusing part of this sale. For example, the Poinsettia Petals Bundle is retiring, but the individual products - the Poinsettia Petals stamp set and the Poinsettia Dies are carrying over into the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog. The bundled savings are not carrying over, but the stamp set and the die set are carrying over.
I recommend marking your 2020 August-December Catalog with what is retiring, what is carrying over into the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog, and what is returning in the 2021 July-December Mini Catalog. I do this in my own catalogs. There is so much that is retiring, that it is difficult to keep it all organized.

I am so sad that the Dove of Hope Bundle, the Dove of Hope stamp set and the Detailed Dove Dies are retiring! Myself, many of my customers, and many of the demonstrator team members all have both the Dove of Hope stamp set and the Dove Dies. We have been enjoying creating projects with this set. I would consider the Dove of Hope a timeless Christmas staple that could be used for many years. I recommend grabbing the Dove of Hope Bundle while supplies last!
However, the Warm Wrap Dies are carrying over into the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog. I love coffee and hot beverages, so I am truly looking forward to the 2021-2022 Annual to find out if there is new, exciting products the dies might coordinate with! I can't wait to see!

We have some time before December 8th to review what is included in the sale, make our wish lists, and get a sneak peek of what 2020 August-December Mini Catalog products are carrying over. Let's use this time to prepare and get to know what will be included in the sale.
Below are the three lists that will help us navigate the Year-End Closeout Sale. The first list contains the products that are retiring from the 2020 August-December Mini Catalog. Some of these retiring products are on sale and some are not. The second list contains the 2020 August-December Mini Catalog products that are carrying over into the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog. The third list contains the 2020 August-December Mini Catalog products that are going into "hibernation" and will return for the 2021 July-December Mini Catalog.

Read through all three lists carefully. There is a lot of information and tons of symbols marking which products are retiring and which are not!
Print out a Wish List and record your shopping list now, so it is not as overwhelming next week!
All bundles are retiring whether the individual products are retiring or not. This is the most confusing part of this sale. For example, the Poinsettia Petals Bundle is retiring, but the individual products - the Poinsettia Petals stamp set and the Poinsettia Dies are carrying over into the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog. The bundled savings are not carrying over, but the stamp set and the die set are carrying over.
I recommend marking your 2020 August-December Catalog with what is retiring, what is carrying over into the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog, and what is returning in the 2021 July-December Mini Catalog. I do this in my own catalogs. There is so much that is retiring, that it is difficult to keep it all organized.
