Much to Celebrate!

I am having a lot of fun playing with and creating projects using the Here's to Cheers Stamp Set and Framelit Bundle.  At first glance, Here's to Cheers appears to be suited only to bottles and tags, but I think the stamps can also be ideal for host thank you cards, Christmas cards, and congratulatory cards.

Craft with Beth: Here's to Cheers Celebrate Card and Tag Christmas Knit Cable Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder TIEF

To make the front of this card to look like a Christmas present, I added a center tag embellishment and some ribbon layered over a 4" by 5-1/4" Crumb Cake rectangle. For an extra detail, I embossed the Crumb Cake cardstock with the Knit Cable Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (TIEF). This embossing folder is too neat. I have been trying so hard not to go overboard and emboss everything with knitted cables.

To create the center embellishment, I partially die cut a scrap of green plaid paper from the Warmth and Cheer Designer Series Paper Stack using only the bottom of the wine bottle tag die. I trimmed both sides where the ribbon will go to make a more rectangular embellishment.

Then I die cut the filigree rectangle with Basic Black cardstock. This die is an elegant addition that really pulls the entire embellishment together. Because the filigree die is so intricate, I recommend using the Big Shot Die Brush to help release all of the fine pieces from the die. The Big Shot Die Brush makes it so easy and quick!

The center of the embellishment is a 1-7/8" circle cut from the Layering Circles Framelits and stamped with the Celebrate image.

I cut two pieces of Cherry Cobbler taffeta ribbon - one for the vertical part of the present and one for the horizontal part of the present. I attached the vertical piece of Cherry Cobbler ribbon to the Crumb Cake mat before attaching the center embellishment. Then I threaded the second piece of ribbon through the center embellishment and adhered both to the Crumb Cake. Lastly, I adhered it to the card base.

This color palette is warm, wintery, and cosy. I bet this card would look amazing in an autumnal color palette too! What color palette would you pick?

Scrumptious Chocolate Covered Pretzels

Many years around this time, my Mom and start making chocolate covered pretzels to give away as Christmas gifts. This year we made double chocolate pretzels and salted caramel pretzels. Let me tell you these are so delicious, you will not be able to stop at just one! Yum!

We adorned each bag with a scrumptious tag using the second tag framelit from the Here's to Cheers Bundle.

The Cherry Cobbler curly die looks like frosting. The mini jingle bell grouping really set the Christmas spirit too!

I added a Whisper White mat to the inside of the card. I took a scrap and lined it up with the bottom section of the tag framelit and ran it through the Big Shot Machine.

Next I stamped the tag with the to and love images in Early Espresso ink. What a great idea to have love instead of just from!

For the bottom border, I cut a 3/4" by 4" piece of Candy Cane Lane Designer Series Paper (DSP). To make sure the DSP lined up exactly on the tag, I also partially die cut this piece. I placed the DSP underneath the bottom portion of the tag die and ran it through the Big Shot Machine. It comes out the perfect width and with rounded corners.

Here's to Cheers Tag Part Two

I used the Warmth and Cheer Designer Series Paper (DSP) for my tag too. However, I used the Crumb Cake paper with the Basic Black stars.

Craft with Beth: Here's to Cheers Tag Part Two Warmth and Cheer DSP Wonderful Wreaths Framelits, Cheerful Tags Framelits, Wine Bottle Tag, Gift Packaging, Christmas

My color scheme was Crumb Cake, Basic Black, and Whisper White.

I positioned the Basic Black filigree die horizontally, but you could definitely place it vertically. The die fits both ways! That way you can decide if you want to cover the tag holes or not.

Instead of ribbon, I added Kraft Rope Trim to the neck of the bottle only. On each end of the trim is a Basic Black star. The star die is from the Wonderful Wreath Framelits. I thought this gave the tag an elegant touch.

After looking at the finished tag, I decided to try putting the rope trim through and underneath the tag. I like both looks. However, putting the rope trim underneath the Cheer stamped image makes the stamped image and filigree die stand out even more.

Which look do you like best? Have you tried the Here's to Cheer Bundle yet? I would love to see what you make!
